Joining Sale Little Athletics Centre is the first step into a fun, family‑friendly community where children aged 5-17 can enjoy running, jumping, throwing, and building confidence week after week. Registration is completed through Little Athletics Victoria (LAVic) and only takes a few minutes.

Children turning 5 years old by 31 December of the season year (U6) through to U17 are welcome to join.
SLAC is an inclusive centre, offering Multi‑Class opportunities, and a supportive environment for athletes of all abilities. Age group calculators can be found here.

All registrations are completed online through the Little Athletics Victoria portal.

Come & Try
SLAC offers Come & Try opportunities early in the season for families who want to experience Little Athletics before committing.
Come & Try athletes are welcome to participate fully, but:
they are not eligible for Centre Records
they must register as full members to continue beyond the trial period

Once registered:
Collect your athlete patch at the track
Attend our Saturday morning meets at 8:45am
Join your age group and enjoy a fun, supportive program
Parents/caregivers will be rostered for parent help, which keeps our meets running smoothly
SLAC meets run on Saturday mornings throughout the season, with a 400m grass track, wheelchair access, and a strong community atmosphere.
