Multi‑Day is a special event on the SLAC calendar where athletes take part in a set group of track and field events across the day. Instead of focusing on a single event, Multi‑Day rewards athletes for their overall performance and encourages them to try their best across a variety of disciplines.
Each athlete completes a combination of running, jumping and throwing events that are suitable for their age group. Their results in each event are converted into points using the Little Athletics Australia Alberta Scoring System, which allows different events to be compared fairly.
At the end of the day, all points are added together to give each athlete a total Multi‑Day score.
It recognises all‑round ability, not just one strong event
It encourages athletes to try new events
It rewards consistency and effort across the whole day
It gives athletes a chance to track their improvement year to year
Faster times = more points
Longer throws and jumps = more points
Consistent performance across all events = a higher total score
All scoring is calculated automatically through ResultsHQ
