You can find information about events offered at SLAC here.
We do ask that a parent, caregiver or guardian stays on site during every session. We know this isn’t always easy, especially when you have multiple children participating, and you don’t need to stay right beside them the whole time. We simply require that a responsible adult is present at the venue for the duration of the session.
To follow your child’s progress throughout the season, you can use ResultsHQ, available from your web browser. Once your child’s registration is processed, and proof of age is recorded, you will receive an email with their details so you can set up your login. Activation may take a week or two after full registration. A gold star will appear next to your child’s name whenever they achieve a personal best (PB), and if they’ve earned several PBs in the same event, the star will show a number. Results often appear quickly, but PB stars may take a little longer to update.
Region and state level results can be found here.
Only fully paid and registered SLAC members are eligible to break Centre Records. Come & Try athletes are welcome to participate, but their results do not qualify for records.
If an athlete achieves a performance that beats the current record, our officials will check the result on the day. If it qualifies, we’ll let the athlete and their family know and update the official records list.
A record must be achieved:
at an official SLAC meet
in the athlete’s correct age group
using approved equipment
with timing or measurement taken by an accredited SLAC official
All performances are verified before being added to the records list.
Yes. Records are reviewed and updated throughout the season as new achievements are verified.
Absolutely. Records exist across track, field, and cross‑country events, and athletes can set records in any event offered to their age group.
Our officials check that conditions meet Little Athletics Victoria requirements. If conditions fall outside the rules (for example, excessive wind), the performance may not be eligible for a record.
Yes! If multiple athletes exceed the previous record in the same event, the best verified performance becomes the new Centre Record.
Your Centre Records page will include the full list, updated as new performances are verified.
We love celebrating our athletes’ Personal Bests, and we never want anyone to miss out.
Because our volunteers are busy running events during the meet, approaching SLAC committee members on the day can sometimes mean things get forgotten.
The best way to follow up is to leave us a message using the Feedback & Enquiry Form.
This ensures your request is recorded, sent to the right person, and followed up properly.
We’ll do our very best to check your child’s PBs and organise any medals they’re entitled to.
We welcome feedback, questions and suggestions from our SLAC families.
The easiest way to contact the committee is by using our Feedback & Enquiry Form. This ensures your message is recorded properly and sent to the right person, even when our volunteers are busy running the meet.
We check submissions weekly and will follow up if a response is needed.
The Alberta Youth Scoring System is a points system used across Little Athletics Australia to fairly compare performances in different events during Multi‑Day or combined‑event competitions.
Because athletes complete a mix of track and field events, and each event measures something different, the Alberta system converts every performance into a points score.
This means:
faster times = more points
longer throws and jumps = more points
consistent performance across all events = a higher total score
It allows athletes of all abilities to be recognised for their overall performance, not just one standout event.
All scoring is calculated automatically through ResultsHQ, so families don’t need to work out points themselves.
If you have any concerns about an athlete’s result, whether it’s a time, distance, measurement or placing, please let us know at the time of the event. This allows our officials to check the equipment, re‑measure if needed, and correct any errors straight away.
All results are recorded through ResultsHQ, so raising concerns early helps ensure everything is accurate before results are finalised.
If you notice something after the meet, you can also contact us through the Feedback & Enquiry Form, and we’ll follow it up as soon as possible.
Our goal is to make sure every athlete’s performance is recorded fairly and accurately.
