Our End of Season Competition Day is a fun and exciting way for athletes to finish the year. Unlike regular meets, this day gives athletes the chance to compete directly against others in their age group for ribbons and placings.
Athletes take part in a set program of events, and results are based on performance on the day, not PBs or season‑long points. It’s a great opportunity for children to challenge themselves, cheer on their friends and enjoy a supportive, competitive atmosphere.
Ribbons awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each event
A structured program that runs age group by age group
A fun, celebratory environment to wrap up the season
Plenty of encouragement, sportsmanship and team spirit
Nine events offered across the day- a range of sprinting, distance, throwing and jumping events
Overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd will be awarded for each age group (boys and girls).
To be eligible for an overall placing, athletes must participate in all events offered on the day.
Presentations will occur at 2:00pm, or later if events are still running.*
In the event of poor weather, the day may be cancelled or a wet‑day program may be implemented.
If the day commences as planned events will not be cancelled or changed until after 12:00pm if the forecast indicates conditions may improve.*
Athletes are welcome to participate in as many events as they choose, even if they are not aiming for an overall placing.
Results are based on placing in each event, using the following points system:
1st place = 4 points
2nd place = 3 points
3rd place = 2 points
4th place onwards = 1 point
All results are calculated through ResultsHQ.
If parents or athletes have concerns about results recording, please raise them at the time of the event so they can be checked immediately.
